Tasting from 07.05.2008

Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Smoky and roasted on the nose, intense dark berry fruit, licorice, caramel and herbs, reminiscent of great Grands Crus from Burgundy. Sweet and full-bodied on the palate, hearty cherries, nougat, very fine tannins, sour cherries and chocolate in the finish, mineral, great length, delicately floral in the aftertaste. Certainly one of the best wines of the vintage.
