The red wine Saliato Colli Perugini Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Chiorri has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
It has a powerful brilliant ruby colour, with a garnet rim. There are intense and appealing aramas, with rich notes of dark berry fruit, lots of cassis, plus intense spicy notes, and lots of cardamom. On the palate it is hearty, with grippy tannins in many layers, building well, and robust on the finish. It is great value for money.
