The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, rich garnet red. Opens on the nose with notes of tobacco and plum, some nougat. On the palate a lot of finely meshed tannin, unfolds beautifully to be very polished, sweet texture on the finish.
