Tasting Notes
Rich garnet. Revealing Amarena cherry on the nose, also plums, discreet wood spice, and dried rose petals, multi-layered, inviting. Spreads across the palate with a polished touch over the tongue, very well balanced, rich fruit, powerful and clear with a long finish. The wine has benefited from bottle age.
More about the tastingPowerful ruby red to violet. Opens with rich earthy notes, then lots of blueberry, plus some dark pepper. Taut tannins on the palate, hearty, with rich savoury notes and plenty of wood on the finish.
