The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Conti Costanti has been rated in 2013 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Brunello di Montalcino in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby-garnet color. Appealing nose with beautiful, ripe fruit notes, lots of cherry and raspberry, dried herbs in the background. Juicy on the palate, shows lots of ripe fruit, also beautiful melting, round at the beginning, then comes with dense, fine-meshed tannins at the back, unfortunately somewhat restrained in the middle course, but should still develop well with ageing.
