The red wine Valpolicella DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Corte Scaletta has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. Rich cherries on the nose, also reminiscent of Amarena, a breath of rock candy, fine-smelling and inviting. Compact on the palate and with delicate drive, vivid tannin underpins the red fruit, slightly salty, lively finish.
