Rich, impenetrable ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Opens on the nose with intense notes of dark bread crust, then lots of ripe blueberries, integrated wood and subtle background savoury notes. Full-bodied on the palate with good presence, grippy, appealing tannin and a firm, hearty finish.
