Rich, deep dark ruby. Intense nose, initially light mineral notes, then lots of blackberry, plum, fine licorice in the background. Firm and powerful on the palate, opens with ripe fruit, lots of plum, supple, dense tannins, builds for a long time, firm pressure on the finish.
