The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Maria Caterina Dei has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red. Nose of rosehips, raspberries, a hint of noble savouriness, echoes of blood oranges and a delicate hint of wild strawberries. Juicy on the palate, with clear and pronounced fruit, shows salty tannins, fine but definite drive, elegant finish.
