Tasting from 07.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, rich shining ruby red. The nose initially gives notes of sweet spices, roasted malt, a touch of mint and liquorice, then rich blackcurrant and some coffee. The palate is gripping and taut, with powerful tannins, savoury and juicy, unfortunately considerably harsh on the finish.
