Tasting Notes

88
Tasting from 01.01.2017: Martin Kilchmann

Strong red with a slight edge of ripeness; mature, slightly dull bouquet, somewhat animal, notes of leather, undergrowth, dried pear, lovage; quite soft attack on the palate, juicy acidity, slightly brittle, drying tannin, aromas of ripe fruit, spicy; long, perhaps somewhat drying finish. Mature wine, but has held up well, persistent.
