The red wine Barolo DOCG Ginestra, vintage 2020 from the winery Diego Conterno has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Monforte d'Alba in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby colour with garnet shimmer. Very clear and appealing nose, fine aroma of strawberry, ripe dark cherry and some cardamom. Juicy, appealing fruit, then opens up with finely layered tannins, good tension, sweet texture on the finish.
