The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna di Sessina DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Dievole has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Elegant ruby with a tendency to garnet red. On the nose of blackberry jelly, elderflower and cassis with delicate savoury notes. Tightly woven tannin on the palate, juicy, clear fruit, punchy and also slightly salty. One to lay down and enjoy fully in a few years.
