Lemon yellow in colour. Non-oxidative ageing is evident. On the nose, aromas of star fruit and silex, with a hint of apple. The palate has plenty of suppleness, but also very fine phenolics, the slowly building acidity forcing soft and firm components together. With intense limestone minerality and restrained spiciness on the finish, the wine has an impressive palate structure.
