The red wine Volnay Village, vintage 2023 from the winery Domaine Arnaud Baillot has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
Slightly reductive on the nose, but also a delicate berry fruit: raspberry, cranberry, subtle smoky wood. On the palate, the wine proves to be very well extracted, with plenty of juiciness behind the tannin structure, whose tendency towards silky finesse is unmistakable. A lot of origin, at moderate cost.
