The red wine Madiran AOC Constance, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine Berthoumieu has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Madiran in France.
Closed on the nose, some bitter chocolate, maquis, wormwood. On the palate with very large amounts of tannin, but less astringent than the old-style Madirans, good, delicate acid support, mineral undertones, very good ageing potential for savoury development.
