The white wine Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, vintage 1999 from the winery Domaine Bonneau du Martray has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Cote de Beaune in France.
Floral, chalk spiciness, hints of old oak, and flax. On the palate still compact combination of body and acidity, still a very tense silky phenolics structure, lots of juice, a mineral tinge, high density, and very good length. It is still very young, ends with a trace of sweet fruit and is taut and long.
