The white wine Chablis 1er Cru Vaillon Cuvée Guy Moreau, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Smoky on the nose, showing restrained wood and fruit and a hint of citrus. The palate brings subtle, ripe phenolics in well judged quantity, as well as lots of juice and a ripe acidity. Appears very round and at the same time very accurate in its structure, currently understated but with excellent ageing potential.
