The red wine Clos de Monzuettes Empreinte Calcaire, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Cornulus - Stéphane Reynard & Dany Varone has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Humagne Rouge, Cornalin from the region Valais in Switzerland.
Initially somewhat wild in aroma, with air it reveals beautiful dark fruit aromas with notes of plum and blackberry, as well as some spiced nuances such as pepper. It's sweet on the palate, but with a lovely structure and high extract, leading to a beautiful, mineral-spiced finish that's supported by fine tannins.
