The aroma already shows the direction of the coming maturity: with peppery, "cool", mentholated, slightly smoky notes, but also notes of thyme and fisherman's friend behind the cherry fruit. The attack sets a foundation of oiliness, then a dry tannin appears, powerful and still very young, the acidity is mild, the palate aromas still much more closed than the fragrance.
