The red wine Saint Joseph »L'Olivaie«, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Coursodon has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
The aroma already shows the direction of the coming maturity: with peppery, "cool", mentholated, slightly smoky notes, but also notes of thyme and fisherman's friend behind the cherry fruit. The attack sets a foundation of oiliness, then a dry tannin appears, powerful and still very young, the acidity is mild, the palate aromas still much more closed than the fragrance.
