A touch of caramel clings to the red and black cherry on the nose. The palate, however, comes in with juicy freshness, with a liveliness, with a charming ease that is unlike a grand cru. It is on the plate that the flinty note of reduction shows though. This displays the elegance of fine tannin, of subtlety and texture. The perfume is so alluring.
