Tasting Notes
Medium ruby colour, purple reflections, broad bright rim. Delicate red berry fruit, hints of raspberry and cherry, floral nuances. Full-bodied, finely structured, fresh cherry again, sour cherry, spicy, elegant and very balanced, subtle fruit sweetness on the finish, a seductive already accessible style with good further ageing potential. One of the best that the Village category has to offer, and reminiscent of the Jayer wines from the good old days.
