The red wine »Pierreux« Brouilly, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine du Vissoux has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tintorera from the region Brouilly in France.
Intensely floral, spicy slate notes, some yeast character. On the palate oscillating minerality, fine-nerved with puissance and freshness and a background lingering creaminess, very pithy, the minerality coupled firm tannins gives the wine a Burgundian feel, and yet it is light and unmistakably and elegantly Beaujolais.
