Tasting Notes

86
Tasting from 05.05.2006

Dark, bright ruby garnet, dark color core, ruby red reflections, delicate edge brightening. A little difficult on the nose, very open, almost oxidative, blueberry puree, youthful. Massive wood notes on the palate, powerful alcohol, bitter chocolate and praline filling, surprisingly fresh structure and then quite dry and astringent on the finish. Aromatically more like a liqueur.
