The white wine »Les Deux Cailloux« AOP Pouilly-Fumé, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine Fournier Père & Fils has been rated in 2021 by Gerhild Burkard, Valentine Mühlberger with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pouilly fumé in France.
An initial scent of delicate green gooseberries, pimpernel and fresh grass, flanked by smoke, damp stone and citrus fruit. Expressive, elegant mouthfeel with delicate acidity, bundled minerality, full-bodied, and complex. This is followed by a succulent, long finish, still youthfully impetuous with very good development potential.
