The white wine Hermitage AOC Le Chevalier de Sterimberg Blanc, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Marsanne, Roussanne from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
The archetypal spice of white Hermitage in all its glory: anise, liquorice, ripe apple, a touch of summer truffle, some wood. Immediately salty on the palate, a fine texture in a broad body, but rather restrained in its vicsosity. Long and homogeneous, on the palate an athletic, not opulent Hermitage.
