The red wine Moulin-à-Vent La Roche, vintage 2013 from the winery Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tintorera from the region Moulin-à-Vent in France.
"Wild" and almost Burgundian animalistic on the nose, herbal tones, but also cocoa bean, and somehow also Rhône-like. On the palate gripping, dry, dense firm-grained tannins , seems very youthful, tannic, resinous, yet with a soft base and recognizable fruit with certain ageing potential. But it is closed like a young Burgundy, completely introverted, and with a vivid mineral tint.
