Tasting Notes

Tasting from 01.01.2016

Dark ruby garnet, with a deeply coloured core and purple reflections. Subtle rim brightening suggests age. Intense black berry fruit on the nose, underlaid with fine vanilla, hints of cherries and blackberries, candied orange zest, and all with a fine herbal savouriness underpinning. Very rich and extractive on the palate - almost a touch opulent - meaning the tannins are barely noticeable behind the fruit drive. Excellent length and secure development potential. .
