The red wine Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Donne Fittipaldi has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, bright ruby red. Rosemary Focacchia and olives on the nose, then a hint of anchovies, followed by dark berry nuances on the finish. Sparse on the palate and characterised by primary acidity, opens up on loosely knit tannins, slightly scratchy on the finish.
