The white wine Bianca di Valguarnera Insolia Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Duca di Salaparuta has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Insolia from the region Sicily in Italy.
Deep golden yellow. On the nose there are notes of tropical fruit and lemon zest, in the aftertaste a touch of vanilla and white chocolate from the oak ageing, as well as a savoury note of Mediterranean scrubland. Mouth-filling and soft on the palate, slightly tannic, considerable finish, should be enjoyed from a Burgundy glass.
