The white wine Escherndorf Lump Silvaner Erste Lage trocken, vintage 2011 from the winery Egon Schäffer has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Put into wooden barrel in 2014, full lees of 2014 were added in 2015, wine came out of barrel on 4/4/2018. Filtered and bottled in mid-April. Floral, flinty. A round and silky attack and then increasingly powerful phenolics and mineral notes. Still very young so this is compact - but without harshness. Not the slightest sign of oxidation, no honey but still dewy.
