It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Medium green-yellow in colour with silver reflections. Delicate orange zest, ripe gooseberries, some blossom honey and cassis, and a hint of marzipan all show on the somewhat restrained bouquet. The palate is powerful, juicy and elegant, with hints of almond paste, mango and peach, backed by a fine acidity and a salty-lemony finish. It lingers well with a mineral aftertaste. Great future ageing potential.
