The red wine Syrah di Fabbrica Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Fabbrica has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
On the nose, the fruit is almost drowned out by the wood. Lots of savoury notes of sawdust, coconut and roasted nuts, but you can still smell cassis and elderberry on the finish. The palate is also wood-accentuated, firm and medium-bodied, with good drive and a slightly harsh finish.
