Bright ruby red, sparkling. Initially a slight reduction on the nose, cheesy notes, dried rose petal after a little aeration, black cherries, cranberries and warm smoke. Gripping, grippy tannins on the palate, coarse tannin structure, surprisingly muscular, slightly dry on the finish.
