The red wine Sum Susumaniello Torreguaceto Salento IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Felline has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Susumaniello from the region Puglia in Italy.
Deep dark garnet. The nose clearly shows hints of ripe cherry and dried tomato, followed by dark leather spice, green pepper, seems beautifully ripe with notes of rum spice in the background. On the palate; elegant fruit and beautiful texture, fruit and spice led, good structure, full, but not too full, clear fruit ripeness on the finish, good persistence.
