The red wine Negroamaro Puglia IGT »Alcione«, vintage 2017 from the winery Felline has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter & Team with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Negroamaro from the region Puglia in Italy.
Some vanilla, Amarena cherry, strong berry aromas. In the mouth with a high amount of sandy, but also mellow tannins, lots of juiciness and a firm acid structure, the variety is recognisable, albeit somewhat softened. The tight finish, however, is very typical, a good food companion.
