Rich, intense ruby red with a slightly purple rim. Compact nose of ripe dark berries, slightly leathery notes, also some pepper. Malty on the palate with a woody aroma, powerful, dark berry fruit with a slight hint of coffee, broad tannins, drying on the finish.
