The red wine Caeles Syrah Terre Siciliane, vintage 2012 from the winery Firriato has been rated in 2017 by Sautter, Ulrich with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Sicily in Italy.
Organic. Animal-tinged, varietally spicy aroma with a side note of raisined berries. Mild, soft palate, mealy tannins, quite present acidity and a delicate, juicy flow. Slight astringency on the finish indicates the youthfulness of the wine. Juice and spice are present, as well as minerality. A very independent wine.
