The red wine Flaccianello della Pieve Colli Toscana Centrale IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Fontodi has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Very appealing and intense nose, with notes of blackberry and mulberry, some orange peel, some milk chocolate and light tobacco in the background. Polished and precise on the palate, showing plenty of fine tannins, salty and with a long finish.
