The red wine Forlago Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, vintage 2013 from the winery Fratelli Vogadori has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Oseleta, Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby red in colour. Lots of caramel notes on the nose, malt, carried by wood flavours, very dark and ripe. Balanced on the palate with a certain creaminess, taut acidity and good tension, tightly woven tannins, slightly lingering on the finish due to the use of wood.
