The red wine Croceferro Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Generazione Alessandro has been rated in 2024 by Otmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet rim. Impressive nose with notes of liquorice and salt, then lots of blackberry, in the background cinchona bark. Lots of grippy tannins on the palate, balanced with notes of pomegranate, smoky and long finish, juicy.
