The red wine Schioppettino FCO DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Gigante Wine & Welcome has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
Garnet with a drop of violet and brightening edge. Opens on the nose with leather, spice, pepper, slightly resinous tone, saddle, and towards the end ripe blueberry and forest floor, should be aired a little in advance. On the palate clear and precise, presents very well-integrated tannin, very juicy, also salty, great length with character, rustic style. .
