Tasting Notes
A blend of Garnacha Blanca, Rousanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Aligoté. Smells almost like a white Châteauneuf with some wood notes, anise, liquorice, wax and toasted hazelnut. The palate has noticeable alcohol power but also an aromatic, silky stuffing that's now approaching its peak of maturity. The body and acidity are tightly interwoven, as is a slight oiliness with the phenolic components. A simply brilliant composition, that finishes spiced and mineral.
