Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby with purple reflections and delicate rim brightening. Underlaid with a touch of slate minerality and black berry fruit, ripe cherry, subtle ethereal nuances, a pleasant touch of herbs and nougat. Juicy, powerful, pronounced in fruit fruit, vivid, well-integrated tannins, shows good length, mineral finish, secure and certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine precious wood spice, black berry confit, delicate hints of spices, still somewhat reserved. Full-bodied, blackberry confit, heart cherries, present but integrated tannins, sweet extract on the finish, a spicy food companion that will benefit from further maturation in the bottle.
