Tasting Notes
Golden yellow in colour. The aroma displays wood and strong batonnage notes like a Burgundy, roasted almond, roasted hazelnut and some butter. Also floral tones. In the mouth, the wine is leaner and more "snappy" than the aroma would suggest. The mid-palate belongs to taut, dense phenolics and a strong acidity. The excellent extract suggests that this wine will awaken from its slumber in a few years.
