The white wine Forst Kirchenstück Riesling trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Heinrich Spindler has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Wide open yellow fruited, yellow plum, Mirabelle plum, also very highly compacted on the palate, very fine phenolics, vivid, yeasty, has juice and ripe acidity, but dominating are the ripe phenolics on a background of creamy viscous extract. This is immense, almost chewy, and hints at great further reserves through the closed finish.
