Tasting from 15.02.2023: Ulrich Sautter

Colour drawn through to the rim, reddish purple. Dark chocolate and herbal bitters dominate the aroma, with a pinch of cinnamon-spiced wood. On the palate, the wine appears very well proportioned: Soft, warm fruit shows through the tight-knit tannin, the wine has both drive and juiciness in equal measure, it still seems to be at the very beginning of its life's journey and gives rise to imagination. The alcohol is integrated.
