The white wine Vitzenburg Schlossberg Riesling, vintage 2021 from the winery Herr & Frau Lüttmer Die Winzerei has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points.
Some wood, plus cardamom and a pinch of cinnamon, also pomelo, bergamot, leather, apple and balsamic tones. On the palate the wine shows very fine, ripe phenolics, sandy tannins in carefully dosed quantities, the body is quite homogeneous and dense, all components come together, with a hint of complexity to come, currently only in the beginning stages of flashing complexity.
