Tasting Notes
Golden yellow. A very complex, initially ripe aroma, fresh stewed apples, "Cox Orange" apples and quince, some wax, yellow curry. Still fairly compact on the palate, measured alcohol, firm acid core, tense phenolics, mineral undertones, savoury finish aromas, vermouth, still has good reserves.
More about the tastingClosed, herbal and spicy, also floral: lavender and rose. Stately palate structure with a ripe nerve, although its effect does not last homogeneously into the finish. Corpulent Marcobrunn with a strong, almost powerful mid-palate and a discreet finish.
