The red wine Rubicon, vintage 2006 from the winery Inglenook has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc from the region Central Coast in United States.
Intense carmine garnet colour with purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Notes of liquorice and cassis, a hint of tobacco, some juniper, nuances of cardamom, well-developed bouquet. Juicy, elegant, some nougat on the palate, well-integrated tannins, ripe plums, balanced, is already mature enough to be pleasant to drink, a hint of dried fruit on the finish.
